Me: Yeah, so I’m probably gonna do a two in one costume- Parker from Leverage where everything’s all tucked in and neat with the climbing gear, then get the gear off, shove it in my bag, untuck the shirt, and bam, I’m Amy Pond that way ‘cause I can’t find a good skirt, shirt or jacket for Amy’s main costume.
Mom: But you have the green bolero jacket that looks like that and the orange V-neck.
Me: … No! Those won’t work for Amy!
Mom: But they look similar.
Me: Similar doesn’t cut it when you have three other Whovians who make kickass accurate 10th and 11th Docs. It’s as close as I can get, or no dice.
Mom: But-
Me: No orange, no green.
Mom: But-
Me: Holy crap. Just no. I am a geek. Geeks have rules. Close enough doesn’t fly. We’ve been over this for six years. (wanders away)
